New “Amazon” Scam
Dec 2020
Here’s some info about a scam I just discovered involving “Amazon” (not really!) I saw a “missed call” from the number below with a text message
“New text message from (833) 941-1389”
“A Message from Amazon Customer Service . bit.ly/3p5gHtI”
Clicking the shortened bit.ly link takes one to some bogus page with this text and the Amazon logo (the link now has a Warning on it from Bitly that its dangerous)
